The California Peel Micro-Dermabrasion Treatment is the most innovative system for safety, gently and uniformly resurfacing the skin. It effectively removes well-defined and isolated imperfections and bring a fresh, healthy, younger-looking glow to the face, neck, decollete, arms, legs and back.

The introduction of Micro Dermabrasion, a new form of skin care treatment, has allowed thousands of people to restore their skin's natural glow of youth and vitality.

Developed in Italy, Micro Dermabrasion, is a highly effective, clinically proven technique for treating fine lines, wrinkles, scars, age spots, and stretch marks. It also regenerates the epidermal cell structure, resulting in a 30 percent increase in the skin's elasticity, creating more beautiful skin.

This FDA approved process is a procedure that is performed with aluminum oxide crystals, a synergistic flow of refined mineral crystals resembling sugar. The aluminum oxide microcrystal used has been specifically tested with the Micro Dermabrasion System to ensure safety and effectiveness. These crystals are directed onto the skin by a vacuum, which removes the dead and damaged skin cells and to stimulate the collagen beneath the surface of the skin. This gentle technique, applied by our skilled skin care professionals, produces an exceptional difference in the skin's appearance with just one treatment. Clients report the remarkable results with our pain-free and non-invasive treatments. After just one treatment wrinkles are less apparent, acne fades away and becomes less noticeable.

This new form of skin care treatment achieves amazing results for people of all ages and racial backgrounds.

Many clients experience softer, smoother glowing skin after their first treatment, while others need multiple treatments. The recommended treatment plan is between two and twelve treatments, depending on the condition and type of your skin and the results desired.

How long does the California Peel take?
A single procedure takes between 30 and 40 minutes and should be repeated at intervals between 7 and 14 days apart. The timing depends upon skin type and condition.

How will I look after the treatment?
The treatment requires no harsh acids or enzyme and require zero recovery time. After the procedure you experience a slight blushing of the skin which typically disappears within one or two hours. There is no worry of down time because this is a non-invasive procedure. You are able to return to regular activities right away.

How do I care for my skin after the treatment?
The new skin should not be exposed to the sun without sunscreen. Avoid the use of tanning booths or prolonged sun exposure for at least one month after you complete your series of treatments. Alpha-hydroxy, glycolic acid, Retin-A, Renova, or any other exfoliation type products should be avoided for at least 72 hours. You may resume wearing makeup within several hours of your treatment. A moisturizer is recommended as the skin may become dry. Your esthetician can advise you of a moisturizer best suited for your skin type.

How long should the treatment be performed?
In addition to its corrective and restorative abilities, the California Peel Micro-Dermabrasion Treatment is particularly effective as an on-going treatment to insure the ultimate health and elasticity of the skin.
